11-12.10.2021. The final event of the project "Moving Boundaries for Emergency Volunteering" took place online. The conference reported on the results achieved and discussed issues related to the sustainability of the network of volunteer centers, as well as the future of cross-border cooperation.
07-08.10.2021. With a team meeting in Athens, Greece completed the "Through the Lens of the Other" project. The event was focused on the results achieved and the lessons learned. The film festival "Positively Different" was assessed as a remarkable event, which will continue after the project with even wider participation. See more.
16-18.09.2021. Complex "Ostrova" - Troyan hosted a three-day training of the team of the Centre for Work with Street Children - Vidin, a structure of FYC. The topic of the seminar was counseling as a tool for social work in the light of the new Social Services Law. See more.
10-11.09.2021. The second volunteer action under the project "Moving Borders for Emergency Volunteering" took place in the ski resort "Stara Planina" (Babin Zab) in the Republic of Serbia. The activity was attended by 20 young people and youth workers from Bulgaria and Serbia, who had the opportunity to train what they learned in a near real situation. See more.
29-30.08.2021.The first youth volunteer action was organized in Vratsa, Bulgaria- a youth exchange related to the dangers of disasters and accidents for local communities. Simulations and practical exercises on risk assessment and voluntary participation were conducted during the event. 20 young people and youth workers from Bulgaria and Serbia took part in the activity. 16-20.06.2021. The second training for leaders of emergency volunteering clubs was conducted separately via Internet communication. The Bulgarian participants were in Vratsa, and the Serbs - in the resort of Stara Planina, Serbia. A total of 20 representatives of 10 partner organizations from Bulgaria and Serbia took part in the five-day course. See more.

23-25.04.2021. The first of a series of trainings on "How to raise healthy and smart children?" took place. It was attended by pregnant women and mothers of children aged 0-3. In the first part of the training, healthy foods for children were discussed, and in the second part, the knowledge was applied in practice in a cooking course. Especially satisfied were the youngest participants in the training, who were happy to taste the prepared food. See more.
15.04.2021. Recruitment and training of volunteers for emergency response has begun in the 10 volunteer centers in Vidin, Montana, Varshets, Vratsa, Hayredin, Botevgrad, Pernik, Radomir, Kyustendil and Dupnitsa.
07-08.04.2021. In the context of pandemic, the second meeting of experts from Bulgaria and Serbia on the project "Moving Borders for Emergency Volunteering" was held online. The meeting reviewed the results of the work of the joint methodological team and approved the final version of the Methodology for training volunteers to act in emergency situations..
01.03.2021.The Trust for Social Achievement Foundation has signed a grant agreement with the Free Youth Centre for the implementation of the project "How to raise healthy and smart children", an initiative of the Romany Early Years Network - Bulgaria.
