Protected residence is a form of social services in which people lead an independent lifestyle, supported by professionals. The services provided in the shelter comply with the criteria and standards laid down in the Regulations on the Application of the Social Assistance Act: location and material base, nutrition, health care, educational services and information, leisure time and personal contacts, qualified personnel . They are based on social work, applying an individual approach, and are tailored to the specific needs of each person admitted to service.
