29.12.2010. The New Year's eve party in the 'Centre for working with street children' was organized with the active participation of the children themselves. The students from Foreign language high school helped providing more presents, organizing Christmas charity event.

26-28.11.2010. The Enterprise for Integration project's team took part in a study visit of city of Veliko Tarnovo. One of the aims of the visit was getting familiar with a working social enterprise – the public laundry in Zlataritsa village, hosted by NGO “Centre for Social and Health Care”.

06.11.2010. The voluntary participation in the partnership project of creating the Centre for family type accomodation in Novo Selo ended with a party. The volunteers promised to continue with their support after the end of the project and their first step in that direction will be the Christmas charity.

25.10.2010. The apprenticeship of 16 young Roma people in the social enterprise, founded during the 'Enterprise for Integration' project have started. The training will continue untill the end of march 2011, when the best aprentices will be employed in the factory.

15.10.2010. The assemblage and putting into operation of the line for production of wooden pellets in the social enterprise, which Free Youth Centre created in partnership with EraStroy Ltd. and Business Centre Ltd. in the frames of the project ‘Enterprise for Integration’, was completed.

06-07.10.2010. In Vidin took part the second “ethno fair” under the project ‘Together in the Past, Together in the Future’. The host of the action was Tsar Simeon Veliki high school. The gests from Nish, Republic of Serbia, students and citizens see with a great interest collected by Bulgarian participants in the project items.

28-29.09.2010. In city of Nish, Republic of Serbia took place the first “ethno fair” – the culmination event under the project ‘Together in the Past, Together in the Future’. The host was the local high school “Svetozar Markovich”. The students form ‘Tsar Simeon Veliki’ high school – Vidin participated in the event as well.

03.09.2010. After competition a contract between Municipality and Free Youth Centre was signed in Vidin for delegation of the social service ‘Centre for Work with Street Children’. This put successful end of the fife-years-long efforts of the FYC to achieve the sustainability in the work with children in social risk from the Roma neighborhood.

06-09.2010. "Summer in the City" is the name of FYC initiative for free time of Roma children. It is implementing under the project Smile School. More then 60 kids everyday participated in sport and creative activities, visited swimming pool, museums and culture events, picnics, etc.

28.06.-02.07.2010. Liene Seglina, EVS volunteer from Latvia, finished her voluntary service with an exposition about Roma people in Vidin, their culture and present life, as well as about her work with Roma kids at risk. The exposition will be presented also in Latva this summer.

21-23.06.2010. Free Youth Centre organized the second training module of Motivation Interviewing for psychologists and specialists in the social work in Vidin.

14-15.06.2010. The 18 clubs, organized by FYC in the school in Roma neighborhood of Vidin, finished the school year with several culmination events - exhibition, sport competitions and a concert. In such way they reported their work before the local community.

17-19.05.2010. Free Youth Centre organized the first training module of Motivation Interviewing for psychologists and specialists in the social work in Vidin. The next one is planed to take part in 21-23 of June.

16-18.04.2010. In "Madonna" hotel - Falkovets took place the first educational seminar for the team and partners of Enterprise for Integration project. The theme of the training was the Team Building.

10.04.2010. The Free Youth Centre association has a new office address - 3700 Vidin, "acad. St.Mladenov" Str., floor 2, office 7 (above Texim Bank, branch Vidin).

16.03.2010. With a press conference started the communication strategy of the project Enterprise for Integration . The project partners - Free Youth Centre (leader), Business Centre Ltd. and EraStroy Ltd. introduced before the journalists its targets, planned activities and results, as well as - the expected challenges.

05-08.02.2010. In Nish, Republic of Serbia took place a training for teachers in intercultural education in frmeworks of the project "Together in the Past, Together in the Future". In the course participated four teachers from Vidin. The project, financed by Neighborhood Programme between Bulgaria and Serbia is implementing by Association for Prevention and Promotion of Mental Health in Children and Youth from Nish in partnership with Free Youth Centre. The associates partner is also school "Tsar Simeon Veliki" - Vidin.

30.01-01.02.2010. FYC organized a study visit of a group of professionalis in Centre for Accommodation in Family Type in city of Ruse, where are accommodaded a part of children from Mogilino. The visit is in the frameworks of the partner project called "Development of an alternative social service - Centre for Accommodation in Family Type for the children of HCWPC - Novo selo vilage". The hosts from Equilibrium association prepared an interesting programme of the visit, which included also meetings with responsible institutions and specialists.

01.2010. With the help of the Free Youth Centre was created a web-site of the project "Development of an alternative social service - Centre for Accommodation in Family Type for the children of HCWPC - Novo selo vilage". The project is leading from "Equal Chance for Children at Risk" association - Novo Selo, but FYC responsibilities are to ensure it methodicaly.
