07-08.12.2016. In Vidin took place the first management meeting of the project InforMath: Non-formal mathematics learning methodology outside of school, funded by the Erasmus+ strategic partnerships. Free Youth Centre is a partner in the project with organizations from Belgium (lead partner), France, Portugal, Cyprus and Greece. See more

With training for psychologists in helping victims of disastrous events the cycle of courses for representatives of school communities of the 10 partner schools under the project "Safe Schools Network" was completed. The last course was held also in the hotel "Skalite" Belogradchik. See more



24.11.2016. The official ceremony for awarding of the first set of subsidy contracts under the First Call for proposals of INTERREG-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Bulgaria – Serbia was held at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works in Sofia. FYC is beneficiary under two projects - Youth Riders (lead partner) and Moving Borders for Volunteering (partner of Timoc Youth Centre - Serbia). See more



21-24.11.2016. In Belogradchik took place consistently two seminars for primary and secondary school teachers from partner schools under the project "Safe Schools Network." The theme of the training was protection from disasters and accidents at school. See more



17-18.11.2016. In Belogradchik took place a seminar for school management in planning the activities in disaster and accidents' protection at school. The activity is part of a cycle of training under the project "Safe Schools Network" aimed at risk management. See more

31.10.2016. Traditionally, Halloween party was organized at the Centre for Work with Street Children for enjoy children and staff. See more




14-15.10.2016. In Belogradchik took place the second meeting of experts from Bulgaria and Romania under the project "Community Opposition of Disastrous Events" (CODE). The purpose of the meeting was the approval of the methodological set made for the provision of training courses and the practical exercises. See more



10-12.10.2016. Madona Inn - Falkovets hosted the tam of Centre for Street Children - Vidin for a training in Social Animation. The training was conducted by a qualified trainer of the Institute for Social Activities and Practices - Sofia. See more

12-13.07.2016. The first international meeting of experts on the project "Safe School Network" was held again in Dubova, Romania. The forum is a project activity and gave an opportunity of experts to exchange views and experiences on the protection of disasters and accidents at school. See more



7-8.07.2016 In Dubova, Romania held the First CODE meeting of experts in disaster protection from Bulgaria and Romania. The forum is a activity under "Community Opposition of Disastrous Events" project and aimed to presenting the results of a Comparative research and drafting Terms of Reference for the methodology of project's training and practical exercises. 13.05.2016. Completed the presentation of the project "Community Opposition to Disasterous Events - CODE," funded by Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme. During the activity, 15 municipalities in the districts of Vidin and Montana were visited, where the objectives and activities of the project were presented among local government representatives, members of voluntary units, social workers and other specialists. 05.05.2016. Project "Safe Schools Network", funded by Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme, was successfully presented to representatives of school education in 15 municipal centres of Vidin and Montana districts. Attendees were introduced to the planned activities and ways of involving schools in the initiative. See more



07-13.02.2016. In Tetovo, FYR Macedonia held training under project "Together for NEET". It was attended by representatives from 10 countries, Bulgaria was represented by FYC. Training discussed ways of interaction between stakeholders in order to better reintegration of NEET young people in society. See more



02.02.2016. In Calarasi, Romania had signed contracts for two projects under the Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme where Free Youth Centre is a beneficiary - "Safe Schools Network" (leading organization) and "Community Opposition of Disasteros Events" (partner).



20.01.2016. Visit the new web platform for NEET (young people who are not the subject of education, training and employment). Its main objective is to bring together organizations working with NEET and who have NEET projects at local, national, or international level. The platform was created under the project "Together for NEETs", in which FYC is Bulgarian representative. See the website here - www.neeteract.com
