December 3th - International Day of Persons with Disabilities

03.12.2021 December 3th was proclaimed International Day of Persons with Disabilities by the UN General Assembly, in 1992.

This year, the theme of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is “Leadership and Participation of Persons with Disabilities in a Post World COVID-19 inclusive, accessible and sustainable”.

People with disabilities are among the most excluded from society and among those most affected by the health crisis in terms of the number of deaths. The pandemic has affected people with disabilities and their family members, so persevering effort based on solidarity and trust is needed in order to eliminate the effects.
