The purpose of the social service "Soarele" Family-type Center is to provide accommodation services, on a fixed-term period as well as: care, formal and non-formal education for children, in order to reintegrate them into the natural family.
Within "Soarele" Family-type Center,emotional support and counseling are provided to the children in order to develop independent living skills, depending on their age and ability to understand.

"Soarele" Family-type Centeris a residential-type structure of the social services provider - General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Giurgiu.
The structure is licensed according to the legal regulations in force and has the role of ensuring the protection, upbringing and care of the child who is temporarily or permanently separated from his / her parents, as a result of the establishment, according to conditions provided by the law, of the foster care measure.
