Volunteers are trained in first aid

16.10.2019  Volunteers from “K. Fotinov" school conducted an activity aimed at rendering first aid to a victim in case of unforeseen incidents - disasters, accidents, catastrophes or fires. The training was held in the building of the school by Emilia Ivanova - a school paramedic and by the head of the club Anna Stoimenova.

The students were taught how to approach the injured person depending on the situation, their general condition, how to provide immediate assistance in the event of a breakdown or burn in the event of a road accident. They practiced cardiac massage and resuscitation of breathing on a mannequin, which the school received under the Safe Schools Network project in 2017.
