15.01.2020 We announce a new network project dedicated to what is happening in Australia. As a result of the forest fires, people were died, as well as an abundance of unprotected animals. We invite network students to show their attitude towards what is happening in Australia with drawings, collages, essays and otherwise! 16.12.2019 The students from the Young Rescuer Club at III Petar Beron Primary School visited the district Fire Safety and Population Protection Department in Montana. They were greeted by firefighters and understood about their work and the peculiarities of this responsible and dangerous profession.

30.04.2019 The school Competition "Disaster, Fire and Emergency Protection" at district level was held in Vidin. In the competition took part teams from seven schools in Vidin region.

The winners of the competition are the students from the Secondary School "Exarch Antim I" - Vidin, second place is the team of school "St. Kiril and Metodiy" Vidin. Third place was the students from school "Vasil Levski", town of Kula. The winners received medals, cups and certificates.

24.10-2018  At 11.00 am at the Secondary School "K.Fotinov" a training evacuation was conducted as part of the DAC (Disaster, accidents, catastrophes) prevention program for 2018/2019, related to the training of students and employees how to behave in case  of fire and other unforeseen incidents on the territory of the school’s premises. The event was held jointly with the Regional Directorate Fire Safety and Population Prevention in Lom and under the supervision of junior inspector Tihomir Todorov.

Clubs on Disaster and Accident at High School Ivan Vazov in Varshets took part in the Disaster Relief - Power, Generosity and Leadership Initiative as part of the National Program "Learn to Donate". Young volunteers explore issues related to natural disasters and actions in helping victims such as first aid, collecting things, and volunteer work in crisis situations.

11.05.2018 The students of First Primary School "St. St. Kiril and Metodiy "- Montana ranked first in the regional stage of the student competition" Protection against fires, disasters and emergencies ". The competition was held at the Center for Vocational Qualification.
All participants showed their theoretical knowledge of correct behavior in fire, disasters and emergencies.
In practical games, contestants placed gas, pressurized rooms and food products. The pupils demonstrated the speed and the right response to earthquake, flood and fire actions.

 27.04.2018 A regional competition "Disaster, Fire and Emergency Protection" was held in Vidin. The competition was attended by 28 students from 7 school clubs in the area. The competition passed in two stages: Theoretical part - solving a test; Practical part - checking pupils' skills for action in various disasters - earthquake, flood, use of individual means of protection, sealing of premises, protection of food from radiation, fire and first aid.

The winner is the club of the St. St. Cyril and Methodius school - Vidin.

25-26.01.2018 in Craiova at the.to the headquarters of the County Centre for Resources and Educational Assistance Dolj (CJRAE Dolj) took place a training for the Psychologists and school counsellor teachers in schools from Dolj County. The purpose of the training was to prepare these specialists to become a support of the potential victims of disaster events.
