Secondary School "Vassil Levski" (I - XII class) is financed by the municipality.

Short history:

1830 - open the first school in Kula

1870 – open  first secondary grade and school was transformed into a civilian. Second and third law secondary classes were opened.

1881 - built a new school building in the northwestern part of the churchyard.

1884 – law secondary school was separated from the primary school and established as an independent institution.

1898 - built a new school building (the current school yard). The school was named "Hristo Botev".

1920 – High school in Kula was founded with  name - Vasil Levski.

Since 2016 according to new educational law, name of the school is Secondary school "Vasil Levski"

Mandatory training hours carried out  up to noon and self-training  - in the afternoon.

The school is a building with spacious and sunny rooms. It has offices in history and civilization; Geography and Economics; Information Technology.

Also in the school there are a medical office, ethno  room, 2 gyms / small and large /, conference/ceremonial hall and a playground.

The spacious courtyard of the school has a view of the castle "Castra Martis."

 Secondary School "Vasil Levski" is located in the city center.
